Will A Broke Pinkie Finger Ever Heal

Good Morning! Cheers Margaret

Fortunately we are in Melbourne .. I added the" fortunately "because My fear about a possible change of hours in the state of Victoria has been so, but last Sunday, so no impact on my flight. In fact I found out the plane before takeoff when the stewardess warned us of a time of 3 hours instead of 2. This happened only in Victoria and New South Wales and Tasmania have already been changed a long time and for Western Australia takes early December .. Of course, the Northern Territory and Queensland have well not to complicate life because their time will not ever change ..

Gentlemen this is Australia! (Ps thanks to big sister who gave me the info above ;-)

back to the trip, after spending a day in Perth to scrounge the internet in the library (this time in all legality!) To wait the flight was at 11pm, we left for Melbourne, not without concern given earlier by the weight of my baggage, 23 kg accurate with a limit of 23kg :-) Virgin, and then a probable cancellation of the flight since it is had forgotten to put fuel Problem ... just!:-S

arrived in Mel not without first doing a "ride" for its suburbs tourist visa instead of spending $ 16 for the shuttle that it takes only 20 minutes to get downtown, we had the bright idea to take a cheaper than other bus was not direct. Minutes spent to get to the center: between 60 and 80!:-S

No time to find our hostel and take a shower that we literally slings staying at the hostel where the girls known to German Margaret River waiting for us with a breakfast high in fat and very precisely made up by: 24 scrambled eggs (and we were only 4 people !;-), bacon, cheese, strawberries, jam and toast!:-P

Ingozzatici properly we chatted a bit 'that we were waiting to greet Heaven (the Colombian girl) but has not had the opportunity to spend the day with us.

Soon after we left for a mini tour ;-) to visit the city.

Rather than recount the myriad of bullshit between us and the Germans put the photos that make more an idea of \u200b\u200bhow we spent the day and what we saw and did:

This can be found in front of you libray .. (except me and the German ;-)

The flinders station.

Two of the "strange" buildings in Federation Square ..

Aerial view from the Rialto Tower, which is the tallest tower in Melbourne (535m) overlooking the Yarra river and sull'Eureka Tower (a little lower ...)

the second day after we woke up to one or because I had set the alarm or bad I did not put their own =) by the receptionist who asked us if we were a day longer or not as we had only booked for a day and had to vacate the room within a maximum of 10 and after moving to a new hostel as comfortable, middle, and above all cheap, we met the girls back to St Kilda in Melbourne that would be the Bondi beach that is closest to the city where can swim, although I think here it's harder to do than it is to surf at Bondi.

pity for the time because the place does not seem so bad ...

St. Kilda is famous because you can see penguins in the rocks This .., However, it is the only one I saw that day!:-S

The entrance to the amusement park.

last day spent with them since that night had the plane for their return home.

I'm sorry I left them a lot because you can hardly find girls so cute and funny considering the fact that the hand came from cruccolandia!

The beauty or ugliness of travel: Do you ...

However the day is not over since that night we went to the home of Dan and Monique, couples Melbourne known to Edith Falls and with whom we had promised to meet once you are in Melbourne. There had even offered to host this week, but we are just "satisfied" to go to dinner with them as well to keep in mind that "the guest stink after two days !;-)" was also in the ass wolves, and uncomfortable as base for our tours! =)

dinner that was prepared by Dan's sister, Ruby, who has worked in a restaurant is really good in the kitchen .. The best dinner (not made by me:-D) I've had since are in Australia!

The family is then completed with the arrival of her mother, Mrs. somewhat libertine as he told of his achievements in terms of greek dancing with a 24 year old who could be her son! (his exact words!:-S)

The only downside: the return journey on foot in town since Dan's mother took us to the train station and us not to create too much trouble we calmed the existence of a phantom train after midnight to come back to town.

Other days and other tours to Melbourne ..

Beccatevi ste photo:

The 2 photos show a glimpse of the Royal Botanic Garden ..

View from Southbank on the Yarra river and all over the skyline of the city.

The typical Victorian-style buildings in Brunswick st.

The State Library

Feels already air born here!

Afternoon past Ruby at the cafe where he works as the night of the dinner as well as speaking for 80% of food (Italian, of course!:-D) we talked about the best places to get coffee at Mel because this city is considered the best place in Australia where a coffee .. You will feel strange, because that to me, but I drank coffee at Ruby was better than many cafes around drunk in Italy ..

Here Melbourne at night:

"antenna" wants to bring the Eiffel Tower .. loser!:-D

but Friday was the turn of the Telstra Dome,

Look Other interior ... that our stage!

one of the two stages of Melbourne dell'AFL home (almost a rugby as we know it but with some different rules that make it very fast so most spectacular N'Americanata .. really!) Which is the national sport in Australia and Melbourne is the city with the best teams,

the Docklands was located where the old port and now is a great place for residences and local (such as Darling Harbour in Sydney)

ride to Melbourne University

built English-style campus of early 900, but where you can find among other things, a mini shopping mall and a food court that rivals those of big shopping malls in terms of quality, variety of food and especially the price (spring roll for $ 1 or large freezer Indians to $ 5.50 .. Something to make me go crazy !!!:- P)

gifts for Dany ;-)

instead spent the afternoon around the center to visit the many existing shopping centers, among them the famous central Melbourne with its distinctive dome inside.

the evening, at the invitation of Ruby, we were drinking in a room together with her friend but not without our delay due to an error in my understanding of language: I knew I had to take the tram n.90 (read ninety) rather than the tram n.19 (read nineteen!:-S)

Last Albert Pak spent days in Melbourne, park famous for hosting the F1 Grand Prix track

and mooch, always in the entire law as it is free, the wireless at the State Library of Victoria.

Regarding my comments on this town, I think Melbourne is by far the most beautiful part of Sydney (apart from the fact that seeing the Harbour Bridge with Opera House and CBD at his back, especially at night, can convince me to tell me otherwise!).

Then the architecture Mel with buildings more "ancient" and its many shopping streets (as well as the presence of the tram that remind me of very few European cities) leads me to think that Melbourne has more European influence (see attachment people for good food and coffee) than in Sydney that I see very American style.

Then to make you understand the differences between Melbourne and Sydney I can say that Sydney is in Milan as Melbourne is in Rome.

That said, however, I must admit that Sydney is the city where I would more willingly (perhaps because I've lived the first months, I do not know!) because according to the proportion given above, I prefer to stay in Milan than in Rome even though the latter is far more beautiful.

While waiting for the next updates because tomorrow we leave for our next trip which will see us driving a rented car here at Mel (for photos and the wonderful name of the car there in the next post ;-) to all Victoria, South Australia and the return back here at Mel to return (hopefully full) the above-mentioned machine, I can admit that I have done a great effort to sacrifice the advantage tell in the photos ..

So if I hear someone complain about the disproportionate number of photos uploaded to this post apparently had seen the stories on the length of the previous posts, please kindly go to hell !!!:- D

See Y (h)! Access! (I understand that in this p ochi!:-D)
