Each year the nursery where I work are held several training courses this year was chosen Development of emotional intelligence as:
1) intrapersonal intelligence (self-knowledge, inner listening, connecting with your higher self, awareness of one's emotions)
2) recognition capabilities in themselves and of other basic emotions and their nuances, the emotions that you give the appropriate name
3) understanding of the situations or reactions that produce different emotional states
4) self-esteem and self-confidence
5) interpersonal intelligence and empathy towards their fellow
6) their ability to recognize and change ineffective or inappropriate behavior by taking responsibility for their actions
7) capacity to identify their goals and achieve them on time
8) use of acquired skills
The adult to help your child develop emotional intelligence must first develop his then:
- being a good role model,
- communicating with children and gain their trust and make them feel "heard",
- understand the distress signals launched by non-verbal channels,
- to manage their emotions. Reassure and help children develop empathy.
- distinguish emotions from behavior. Recognize and comply with all the emotions and their children, change attitudes, ineffective and also teach children how to do it.
- learn how to get involved in interpersonal relationships-
agree that every child is different. A difficult task
certainly that of education, the way to go is so great, self-analysis is certainly the first step towards the goal and I'm ready to unravel the tangle .... or at least think a bit 'of nodes we I am ...
