Buber first draw a perspective of thought which are the key themes of dialogue and relationship: from the idea that man is not a substance but a dense network of relations and relationships.

The paper is impregnated with ubiquitously quest'assoluta proposition, Buber gives the sense in phylogenetic and ontogenetic sense. The world has two faces that represent the dual attitude that they see the man: an attitude of total, whole, in which the verb becomes the basic word I-Thou and an attitude that can not be whole in which the verb becomes the key word I -it.
