Rising shuddered at the contact with the autumn air cool and sharp, put on a vest to protect from the cold and without washing his face walked into the kitchen for coffee. As he walked down the corridor he heard the voices of the operators in turn, knew immediately that the speaker was Frank and Cecilia, not bad, usually gave generous servings of coffee and cigarettes were not stingy.
