"I ran a day same, it was morning, yet another week, and the sounds of the kitchen announcing that someone would pass a call from them recently. He turned in his bed, the blankets were warm, rough but friendly, a bit 'light passed by the window shutters and the smell of coffee to get there. He felt that the roommate in the rooting bed and a wave of anger made him grimace. Rising shuddered at the contact with the autumn air cool and sharp, put on a vest to protect from the cold and without washing his face walked into the kitchen for coffee. As he walked down the corridor he heard the voices of the operators in turn, knew immediately that the speaker was Frank and Cecilia, not bad, usually gave generous servings of coffee and cigarettes were not stingy. He prepared to show a smile but the usual questions of everyday snatched it from his lips. That monotony, the repetition of gestures and words each day equal not stand it any more. "

Sub in Bell
I come to look for, Bell, it 'my memories.
And if I turn to you here, as before, as if you were still alive,
is because the memory needs to be in a special state of grace, needs a strong emotional stimulus to dispel the fog thickened over the years away a turbulent succession of events.
Listen, then. And do not blame me if after my return from Africa I did not want to see you.
M'avevan told you that he was alive only body and your spirit was shipwrecked, hopeless, dreary darkness of a stormy night tragic.
I have not had the courage to follow closely your martyrdom, as I was powerless to soccorerrerti. I would not watch a single moment epilogue your terrible experience: not to meditate too long in an absurd destiny that nailed shelter alienated a man like you, that I had room for land and ocean, hoping to boundless horizons.
We were left in Bologna, where they already began to take shape, clear signs, the success of your book: of those songs that we Orphic goliards we held a little on the sheets from our baptism scapigliatura, including songs and rhymes friendly of love.
And we should not see each other anymore.
Well, thirty years 'after your official entry into the life of the "bohemian" university, I wanted to collect some' memories. I came back in mind and the minds of our time away: at that time of my reckless youth and tumultuous, when you, a veteran who knows what mysterious rugged adventures, you brought with us, with your fee as a beggar, the spirit of your royal ocean views.
No one knew, then, to all those writers who then decreed t'han triumph. You were an unknown: it was a strange man and dreamy, a restless wanderer came to a stop along the road: you were an eccentric student of chemistry laboratory had chosen the world's roads. Certainly would not have ended your trip with an analysis of staff, you, accustomed to the transitions and vertiginous lyrical synthesis of vibrating cosmic fantasies.
But you stopped it with us.
(...) So you lived a little of our lives. We were Notes to our illusions, our worries, our antics. You were witness of a benevolent and unconcerned with sympathetic sequala rascality.

And so, at night, for starde narrow, brown under the arches and severe, pei winding streets and conducive to tighten the secret of our bizarre excesses. And you still with us docile meek quiet.
you went "with a little singing with a lot of wine." And we were singing for you. Sometimes lingered suddenly stop for a while, we followed at a distance, to be alone. Who knows? Maybe you went meditating, in your silence, textures, art and poetry. Under the arcades of the architectural ocheggianti venerable age, within the halls of hospitality sensual numbed wits fat ones, in games of shadow and light, plastic living creatures and things, you certainly saw that escaped our attention: you listened agreements, dissonances sound alerts that we could not reach us. Many pages of 'Your songs are born from this wandering Orphic
(...) But you were a rebel to the laws of a quiet life, to the customs of the people bucket, the wise counsel of wise people. You were homeless because followed a shocking your dream of infinity. You were a stateless person, because the poetry of which he was desperately in quest of a national world: you, for the world to bring the "scale of the working poor Italian ... do not know." Your legend is here. And some saran these simple memories of our time away to shed some light on the desperate drama of your adventure.
Legend is mystery and poetry and the mystery of your life was poetry.

Aleramo in Campana
Milan May 30, 1917
I have dreamed of - you were lying next to me-I woke up you were saying, "forgive me".
was you, Dino - I just reviewed, heard.
So does that mean you know that I loved you last?
You know how horrible it was your blindness? Those that closed your eyes, and were made to the sun. For me and you.
Oh Dino, Dino, and now it's too late. I can not.
that I am forever the night he departed from Florence, cry like that night, that night is as if I had four years, missed tears in the street of a little girl beaten and lost.
And no one touched me.
I was pure, Dino - why did you want to deny it, and you knew to lie?
are pure - and I feel like dying - and it's too late, love, poor me, my, I have loved one. I forgive you. Remember.
I had faith in your soul. Save it - as if we were to meet again. In the dream, I'll know, maybe. My! I forgive you. Live

step short of beauty
step short of beauty is the title of the homage of re-reading of the correspondence between Dino Campana and Sibilla.
It comes from one of my poems published in the Anthology Pro / Text (Fara Editore) and before "was" one of the stories (written and then put aside) of seven cards to the Queen. For months I asked what could prosaically and poetically express the best step short of beauty , then one day in my hands I ricapitarono excerpts of letters between Bell el'Aleramo (read months prior to a night) and I realized that I was looking for I had it already. The intense love and tormented between the two writers, still mail letters, escapes, long silences and furtive meetings are step short of beauty. That short passage that illuminates that opened a gash on the poetic scenery of the devastation of World War one hand, and on the literary resentful and envious, profiteer and the surrounding Aleramo (Matacotta) * that Campana (Soft and Papini) *
A story of love and poetry of our early twentieth-century literary, stray and isolated in the spirit Campanian, protector and desperate words in the run in aid dell'Aleramo. A story in the same Aleramo tried to speak through writing a film script then remained locked in the drawer and then forgotten by other unions other loves. Only at the end, when Sibyl was already well advanced with age and lived in Rome in Via Margutta, Nicholas Gallo convinced the publisher to print the letters of that journey
"called love."
reading performance is a tribute to the two writers.
poetry that brought them together and makes them live up more to us today.

Notes
letter to Franco Sibilla Matacotta dated October 30, 1959 evening and lodged at Archives Aleramo.
"Franco, who gave you permission to post my portraits and unpublished letter of Dino? That letter was clearly not among the many papers you've stolen from my closet before leaving the attic. And how come you, man of letters, to interpret the last sentence of this letter as a will * and is just the hiccups of a poet. And you just, you, you accuse me of violation! I gave consent, last year, the publication of the dear noble Nicholas Gallo after two years of insistence, but I did precede the note (which few have taken over, or even what you think), in which I felt they do not want in any way participate in any gain for publication. While you now have a certain income derived from this article that the poor do not honor Franco! E 'own destiny, even after a decade, you should give me proof of your moral insensitivity. And once again, towards the end of my hard life, I must see the enormity of my mistake about you (...)
* Bell in the famous letter he wrote "my Letters are made to be burned "
* Franco Matacotta in the magazine talks about the success of the correspondence, starting from this unpublished letter (all'Aleramo stolen) in a controversy, accusing the Aleramo to contravene the will and testament of Campana. The response was immediate dell'Aleramo the Director of the Magazine and Journal notes "I wonder how many other cards (...) before leaving for the last time the attic."

Comet and poet of the night
step short of beauty
How close the air chest
first firmament
in the heart of beauty
rises and falls beauty
when the noise becomes world
and vulgarity is deceived.
(Dale Zaccaria, Epilogue of a poem in civil, Pro / Text Fara Editore)
The night sky , which draws its bell, the poet of the night, you traversed by a comet , epressione the Supreme step short of beauty the very brief overview of the most beautiful star, the biggest night of the blue!
As background to the vision of the symbols of the comet noise and vulgarity that you deception, towers, antennas, industries, buildings (power?) And even churches, that is also a metaphor for destruction and noise scenario, the first symptoms of the new mass society and the hostile climate literature, passing through years of Campana and dell'Aleramo. The
window has two functions: to directly call their isolation around the figure of Campana also a poet and man, but at the same time to invite the viewer to open the painting and open their windows to Beauty, before the comet fades away altogether.
