Titanium Foot Implant

L '"hospitable" East Coast!

New update from the homeland of alcohol, the partying late into the night and the infamous backpacker: namely ruthless kids from all corners of the earth that flow from these parts and the time to party same work in the farm when they drained all their savings in beer and goon!

Ques to , in the presence of places and tourist centers divenut respectable even if represented by villages with a main street and hundreds of indigenous people is the sense (to me) that encloses this piece of Australia.

For Charity There are places that are beautiful and you will see in reading this post, but if you ask one of the many backpackers who have visited, most of the coral reefs will remember hangover taken in 3-day tour used to visit it!

"Hospitable" because in addition to all the damn Queensland (QLD from now) is also collecting an infinite variety of animals that are dangerous to say that, or when they're not you can enclose them in the "troublesome", is little: sharks, manta rays, jellyfish (including the infamous box jelly fish that can not be great to see only 2cm of the tentacles has ability to inject a poison so deadly to kill you in a few hours and of course the seas by storm in this part of the world between November and April!), crocodiles, spiders, snakes, mosquitoes of all kinds, colored flies that bite you, sting you mite (called bad bugs and leaving a small sting that causes irritation worse than a mosquito) and so on and so forth! Oh I forgot

of tropical cyclones that can happen to you and you'll read this post a small description!

by my words I can see a certain "reluctance" to the QLD but even if I'm not afraid to admit that I enjoyed a lot (apart from the hurricanes, mosquitoes, flies and bad bugs!) especially thanks to the company that I had and the wonderful places I've seen, the boundary that distinguishes it, mainly because of its tropical and humid climate, is not among the things that have come to seek in Australia, even though it is one of many and countless experiences that you can live here!

PS As usual, I make the assumption that what you are going to read a post will be a little long because of the temporal and that includes the number of places that I visited!

Picking up Surfers Paradise, the next stop saw us headed to Noosa, a small town famous for the practice the surf, the dolphins can be seen here and this national park.

Before Noosa but a must (only because we were a long way! ;-) Was the visit of yet another Big Things.

This time it was the turn of the Big Pineapple!

He aroused sympathy, compassion or do you, as the Big Banana as well as the fact that you could pay "only" $ 15 to stand on, parking

and even bus stop

presage that the place is one of the most visited sites in Australia and is certainly a must for all who pass by here ...:-D

back in Noosa, as well as a bathroom and around the promontory, in the company of V

while the two "children" (Daniel and Alice ed) were devoted to the culture of tanning, where the second the lonely you have a wonderful view of the coast (this sentence I read the hundreds of times!) we have not done much, so we headed to Hervey Bay where we took part in the excursion to Fraser Island, but not without first having made a stop at Maryborough city lovely and well maintained and mostly famous because this is where did the author of Mary Poppins, a certain Pamela L. Travers where I could not fail to make the photo on the statue (of Mary Poppins I mean!):-D

and Rainbow Beach.

Apart from the fact that this town is like great majority of seats in the QLD, namely a road with houses, a beach that has not left me a good impression and the Great Sandy National Park that instead I explained why I was in that place

These strange characters that roam the dunes were there because they were shooting a parody of the movie titled Star Wars Spaceballs. Maybe someone has even seen the movie with Mel Brooks!

what I remember most about this place is the "adventure" we had to get there ...

As always, I set the browser to reach your destination as quickly as possible, but not only have sent us on a dirt road ( I swear that this car did not want him to do anything for a dirt road, but obviously I can not return a rented car without breaking the rule that prohibits the use of it on dirt roads! =)) the navigator had completely lost the street.

In practice most did not know where we were going!

At that point we had to rely on the case unravel the situation and in fact we have reached the goal, where we spent the first night in camp, with only 40 minutes late!

As for Hervey Bay, the place is famous because all tours depart from here directly to the island of Fraser Island, famous because it is the largest sand island in the world and where c ' is so dense and varied vegetation that cause a stir among the experts as it is difficult to think that both can develop a green piece of land made of sand and only!

You can choose different types of tours, but what is fashionable among backpackers and I also believe that the most fun, is where you rent a jeep equipped with everything necessary for camping along with 10 other people.

Before brefieng teach you where to drive on sand as well as everything you can and can not be done on the island, the three heroes were seriously concerned about the possibility that the tour could be composed of persons in male-dominated sex!:-D

And the clues led to think that, with the discomfort of 3, which was turning into anger!:-D

Fortunately the meeting we discovered that the fellow adventure were: a pair English, another Englishman nicknamed the Mad Hatter because of his hat, and we wanted to "entrust the care of the Countess (Alice ed) to have no barriers on the four Canadians who closed their ranks and that is: MB that the male because of its masculine behavior, his girlfriend Kalena we discovered the true name when I left the contact FB at the end of adventure, the mustache (you can get yourself to understand why) and the impersonator of Amanda Cristina nicknamed the truck driver because of the fact when you had drunk the same behavior and the same laugh of a truck driver of a road train!

Obviously the uncontrollable desire to make sfraceli with the jeep drove me to drive for the first

and reach the first stop on our tour, ie the lake Birrabeen

In my beautiful as the lake Mckenzie

The day is then spent between stops to visit another lake, lunch, and there is little adventure that happened and we ate the first day of the time: namely the fact to the rescue jeep in Group B, we were group A, which was covered with sand on the track that ended up on the "highway" that is used as the beach highway.

Yes, you read that right: the beach is also used as an airport and it was not a case when we were overtaken by a Cessna taking off!

We were stopped for more than two hours trying to remove the sand from the half but nothing.

Eventually with the help of a madman driver of a tour (which, as he laughed in the face of that thing had to be by force of QLD!) who discovered that the 4x4 of the guys was broken, we were able to remove it from the sand. But a problem remained: the road had become impassable because of the numerous attempts made previously and our vehicle was stopped so we could not climb the small incline that separated us from the sea that we had not seen a run for it. Guess' who tried to remove it from that situation?

fact earlier I had climbed into the jeep with the driver to learn a bit 'of knowledge on how to drive on that occasion and then I got behind the wheel and conscious that I could stay covered up with its shape of crap or worse to go straight into a tree due to the fact that you had to run if you wanted to have the speed to climb the slope of that track, I said it was one of those situations where I could not fail to put my nose!:-D

Luckily I did and the first day ended with a BBQ on the beach and the inevitable drinking game that has followed each other (do not ask what happened after that not even tell you why it is not nothing happened! :-(

On day 2 after fighting throughout the first day of warm and strangely colored flies bite, and other billions of insects, the adventure continued with a visit to the north of the island,

the wreck of the ship Maheno,

one of the most famous lake with the Fraser Mckenzie

and the subsequent swim in the lake is famous Webby since there because all of a dune, take a run down to dive, but from the lonely kids with a broken back because of this custom no longer count,

from the video that you shall be see you can see how we dove to avoid the risk of returning to a wheelchair ;-)

and also because it gave me the opportunity get me my deserved bidet after nearly two days of illegal transport of sand as my pants were full!:-P

the third day, as I had led throughout the second day, I gave rein to my uncontrollable desire to run for those narrow paths, sand-filled hole and this time using a speed of Cruising higher as the first had not yet familiar with the medium (not that I had purchased the day of rest ;-) Assigned Lake Mckenzie

where we ended the adventure on this fantastic island, which although full of people I was thrilled to be wild because of its and extremely hostile toward the man as well as insects, apart from the fact that you can not bathe in the ocean because of all those animals mentioned above, services on the island are rightly kept to a minimum to keep this pristine environment !

really one of the places in Australia I will not forget so easily ..

The next leg of my journey has brought us to Great Keppel Island small island off the coast of Rockhampton (where the Tropic of Capricorn passes but we have not seen the slightest trace because there ' were signs on the road or at least state that we have not in 4 seen!).

Islet famous for its beautiful beaches and coral reefs.

Fisherman's beach where "docks" the ferry!

three different perspectives of Monkey beach

Long Beach

Shelving

Beach

Ok for the beaches but the reef is literally shit if you stay near the coast ..

On the other hand, however, the swim with turtles, manta rays and a couple of the sight of a small shark

They allowed me to re-evaluate! (Photo by Valerio ;-)

Back from Great Keppel, the Golloso was scheduled to take us to Arlie Beach where we participated in the 3-day cruise to withsunday Island.

But a quick look at the sky and strange warnings from the radio to inform us about the presence of a strong cyclone 4 (on a scale from 1 to 5!) Off the coast of Cairns, we did not foresee that something would go according to plan!

It got there the next day we discovered that the cruise has been canceled because of this cyclone provided withsunday Island on the following day.

The distress went up inside me because in addition to having borrowed time since I have already booked 2 flights to Alice Springs, a tornado that touched the coast with the force there is not you could see, according to experts, more than 30 years ..

Obviously we had the precision of a surgeon to book our tour in the days of passage of the sympathetic Hamish (the name of the cyclone).

less discomfort in the past before you know it when we went to the local hostel where in the program that night was expected miss wert shirt where among the challengers prov (T) Ette maidens:-P was also our truck driver!

For those who know the Christ: The camonica there looks like a lot?? Even as you drunk (look at the picture with the hat ;-)

evening we pulled in high spirits say .. so ..:-D

If

With want to know if I will go to or not, I can only refer you to the next post.
